Tagging
This guide will walk you through how to properly tag your Railyard content. Proper tagging is important for ensuring that your content is easily discoverable by other users and can be properly categorized within Railyard.
Tagging Overview#
Maps have 2 main categories of tags: special demand tags and region tags. Special demand tags are used to indicate the presence of a specific, non-vanilla demand feature on the map, while region tags are used to indicate what region your map's city is located in.
Special Demand Tags#
Use these tags only when the map models a meaningful amount of demand related to the feature.

Region Tags#
For region tagging, each map should be tagged with the region that the city it models is located in. You can find a list of all region tags and the areas they cover in the Region Lookup section below.
